Today is the day! The Electrocaching EP officially hits shelves today and can be found at local indie record shops including Electric Fetus and Cheapo. Of course you can always pick up a copy from our online store or download it at your favorite digital retailer. The New Monarchs will be celebrating the release this Friday, at The 501 Club in Minneapolis, with friends Ghost in the Water and Al Church & State.
As reminder for those participating in the scavenger hunt, the prizes can only be found after 6:00 p.m., but clues will be revealed throughout the day.

Pre-orders for The New Monarchs new album, Electrocaching, will begin Tuesday, Feb. 16 (tomorrow). All pre-orders will ship on March 2, which also happens to be the date the album will be available for download at your favorite online retailer. Electrocaching will be available in stores on March 23. Head over to the band's Myspace and take a listen to the first track.
The guys will also be playing this Wednesday at Sauce Spirits & Soundbar with Dada Trash Collage and Ghost in the Water. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. and is free for all you legal drinkers.
